Chess Queen Kosteniuk is the Chess Cover Story in Echo Magazine in Switzerland

Chess Queen Kosteniuk on the cover of Echo MagazineWhile I was playing in the Geneva Grand Prix last week (see my report for the moment in Russian and in English thanks to Google Translate), the French-Swiss magazine Echo came out with an article about chess, and I made the cover with it.
Check it out below or read it on the Magazine’s site.

Dear Chess Queen, I tried to read the article and am really inspired by you. All you do to promote chess and your hard work in becoming a World Chess Champion is amazing. That is what makes you so special. Blessings.

  8. ARCANVS4 says:

    Dear Chess-Queen!
(They wrote above: “Vont-elles un jour leur damer le pion?” = ‘Will She promote her pawn to a dame?’.
I hope, that You are willing to do a bit of ancient mythology?!)
    Call the pitiful dame Echo to Your mind;
thus make Your Pa(w)n go down the pan(el)!
(PS: ‘to go down the pan’ = ‘to be doomed’.)

  9. oops! says:

((It seems, that – instead of Pan -
I am a little bit doomed by You.))

  10. ARCANVS5 says:

    Dear Chess-Queen!
    I wrote to You:
“It seems, that – instead of Pan -
I am a little bit doomed by You.” …
… and You didn’t cancel it – wow!
Word ‘doom’ is related to ‘-dom’ as in ‘kingdom’.
I thank You for Your occult offer accordingly,
but I know for sure, that You are already married!

  11. oops #2 says:

    ((I am sorry – again!
I have been aware now, that You indeed have canceled it yet.))
